香煙是危害人體健康的一位溫柔的“殺手”，據媒體報道，吸煙的人容易得多種疾病，如肺炎、支氣管炎、心血管疾病等等，吸一包香煙相當于減少1小時(shí)的生命。
我看過(guò)爸爸20多歲時(shí)的照片，那時(shí)的她白白胖胖，臉色紅潤�？刹恢裁磿r(shí)候起，爸爸每天都要吸一包煙。慢慢的'，他的牙齒變黑了，手指變黃了，身上散發(fā)出一股難聞的煙味。我見(jiàn)了他，躲都來(lái)不及。我和媽媽幾次勸爸爸戒煙，可他卻說(shuō)：“現在生活安定了，也該學(xué)著(zhù)享受，再說(shuō)，吸煙的男人有風(fēng)度嘛！”雖說(shuō)我們心里不高興，但媽媽心軟，最后還是由著(zhù)她。
過(guò)了不久，我發(fā)現爸爸開(kāi)始咳嗽，那聲音越來(lái)越響了。先是輕輕的幾聲，然后是連續不斷的咳嗽。有時(shí)咳得臉發(fā)紅，連眼淚都流出來(lái)了。每天晚上，還沒(méi)看見(jiàn)他回家，就可以聽(tīng)見(jiàn)他那刺耳的咳嗽聲了，那聲音聽(tīng)起來(lái)像七八十歲的老人一樣蒼老。爸爸實(shí)在熬不過(guò)，就只好求助醫生。經(jīng)過(guò)醫生診斷，發(fā)現爸爸得了氣管炎，這下，爸爸不得不下決心戒煙了。有時(shí)見(jiàn)爸爸實(shí)在忍不住了，我就把零食往他的嘴里塞，這個(gè)辦法還真管用。
現在，爸爸長(cháng)胖了，胃口開(kāi)了，精神也飽滿(mǎn)起來(lái)了。爸爸也主動(dòng)把原來(lái)用來(lái)吸煙的錢(qián)補貼家用，有時(shí)也給我買(mǎi)學(xué)習用品、玩具，給媽媽購買(mǎi)衣服、營(yíng)養品�，F在，我的家里又充滿(mǎn)了歡聲笑語(yǔ)。
