　　確定世界衛生日的宗旨是希望引起世界各國對衛生問(wèn)題的重視，并動(dòng)員世界各國人民普遍關(guān)心和改善當前的衛生狀況，提高人類(lèi)健康水平。世界衛生日期間，包括中國在內的世界衛生組織各會(huì )員國都舉行慶�；顒�(dòng)，推廣和普及有關(guān)健康知識，提高人民健康水平。
