You Are My Life
你是我的生命
There was a boy who was sent to a boarding school. He used to be the brightest student in his class. He was at the top in every competition. But things changed after that. His grades started dropping. He hated being in a group. He was lonely all the time. He felt worthless and that no one loved him.
一個(gè)男孩被送到寄宿學(xué)校念書(shū)。他以前是班上最聰明的學(xué)生，在所有競賽中都獨占鰲頭。到了寄宿學(xué)校后情況卻變了。他的成績(jì)開(kāi)始下滑，討厭團體活動(dòng)，總是形單影只。他覺(jué)得自己一無(wú)是處，沒(méi)人再愛(ài)他了。
His parents began to worry. But even they did not know what was wrong. So his dad decided to visit the school and talk with him.
他的父母開(kāi)始為他擔憂(yōu)。但就連他們也不知道出了什么問(wèn)題。于是，他的'父親決定到學(xué)校走一趟，跟他好好談一談。
They sat on the bank of the lake near the school. The father started asking him casual questions about his classes, teachers and sports. Then he asked, “Do you know, son, why I am here today?”
他們坐在學(xué)校附近的湖岸上。父親一開(kāi)始只是問(wèn)兒子一些平常的問(wèn)題，例如他上了什么課、老師怎么樣、進(jìn)行什么運動(dòng)等。然后他問(wèn)：“兒子，你知道我今天為什么到這里來(lái)嗎？”
The boy said, “To check my grades?”
男孩說(shuō)：“來(lái)查看我的成績(jì)？”
“No, no,” his dad replied. “I am here to tell you that you are the most important person for me. I want to see you happy. I don’t care about grades. I care about you. I care about your happiness. YOU ARE MY LIFE.”
“不，不，”他的父親回答�！拔襾�(lái)是為了告訴你，你是我最重要的人。我希望看到你開(kāi)心。我在乎的不是成績(jì)。我在乎的是你。我在乎的是你過(guò)得快快樂(lè )樂(lè )。你是我的生命�！�
Now the boy had everything he wanted. He knew there was someone on this Earth who cared for him deeply. He meant the world to someone.
現在，這個(gè)男孩擁有他需要的一切了。他知道在這個(gè)世界上有人非常非常關(guān)心他，他就是這個(gè)人的一切。
Thanks a lot, Dad. YOU ARE MY LIFE.
